Cleaning and sterilization of the brine
The solution circulates through a mechanical filter and chemical and UV treatment — we do not merely meet the sanitary directives, we exceed them.
Sceptics like to ask how we ensure the brine (solution) stays clean.
In preparing the solution we follow and exceed the sanitary directives that are prescribed and standardized. The solution circulates in a closed-loop system that includes a special mechanical filter as well as chemical and UV treatment of the water. The mechanical filter removes all solid particles that may be released into the solution during floating.
Despite the high concentration of salt in the solution, which is not favourable to the growth of harmful organisms, the system has a built-in UV filtration unit that ensures complete disinfection of the solution after every use. For sanitary reasons we also treat the water preventively with hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) , which acts as an oxidant and, unlike chlorine, has no unwanted side effects such as odour and allergic reactions.
Thanks to the thorough and effective treatment of the solution, transmission of disease from one floater to another is not possible.
